I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’m always bothered by designers who claim to design “for women” or create “for women” and then use 17 and 18-year-old girls in their advertisements. Donna Karan’s 25th Anniversary Ad? Karlie Kloss. She just turned 18.

Nothing against these models — I love all of them, and I myself am a teenager — but I have worked at Saks with clothing by Oscar and Donna. And their REAL woman is far beyond the sophistication acquired by any teenager.
